My Goals and Plans for 2019






Hello, 2019,

I don't know about you but I love the idea of a fresh start which you have read about in my last blog post Finding my Mojo. I take the time to allocate and think through my goals, dreams and ambitions for the year ahead. Let's be real though, who sticks to their goals for a whole twelve months?

This is why I have decided to have year-long goals this year but broken down into monthly, easier to manage goals and targets, allowing myself to not get overwhelmed by the enormous mountain in front of me. But instead, have monthly targets that, where appropriate can be broken down even further.

I've categorised the yearly goals into three sections, Blog/YouTube, Fitness/Health and Personal.

So here goes! My goals for 2019:



BLOG & YOUTUBE

1. Stick to a regular upload schedule.
    I started this last year, and well didn't do so well. Throughout the year I would like to become more consistent with uploading and when. The schedule will be uploaded onto my socials, (@kirstenaprice). Hopefully, with the consistent scheduling, this will help to grow the blog and the Youtube channel.

2. Create my own website.
    Last year I tried to create this on my own. In the midst of 2018, it didn't work, people couldn't find it. This year I want to try creating something I am happy with, using skills picked up along the way to create a unique and easy to use blog website.

3. Upload more regularly for Instagram.
    In 2019 I want to upload more regularly to Instagram, purposefully creating content for the platform.

4. Learn to use Lightroom.
    2019 I want to learn to edit photos on Lightroom for both use on Instagram, my blog and career.


FITNESS & HEALTH 

1. Make active use of my Gym membership.
     In Summer 2018 I managed to go to the gym at least 4 times a week. Uni got in the way and so for 2019 I want to manage my time better to include physical exercise in regularly.

2. Eat more healthy.
    As well as using the gym I would also like to eat healthier meals, as well as continuing to go to Slimming World.

3. Eat more Vegetarian meals.
    This is more for health, when I eat less meat I tend to feel more energised and less fatigued. I would like to continue this in 2019.

4. More Self Care.
    Taking time for yourself is so important but so easy to neglect. In 2019 I am going to make more of a conscious effort to have time for myself.




PERSONAL

1. Graduate my first phase at Uni.
    This year marks the end of my first phase at Uni, this year I would like to make a video explaining everything, but my biggest goal is to achieve a grade I am pleased with and graduate.

2. Read more books.
    Whilst doing more self care I also want to read more books. I already have some picked out that I can't wait to get stuck in.

3. Learn to say no.
    Prioritise the things that are important to me, learn to say no to things that I can't do and the things I don't want to do.



Hoepfully, by having these generalised year long goals, and breaking them down further into monthly goals. They will be more attainable in 2019.
