Who you say I am...

God doesn't make ugly. God doesn't make worthless. God doesn't make weird. God makes beautiful. God makes valuable. God makes unique. God has made you to be exactly who you are, so the minute you put yourself down, you are not just calling yourself ugly, you're telling God that his most prized possession is ugly.

Imagine you're a little child in a nursery or school or even an adult who likes to create. You just created the most beautiful picture, other people might not understand why, or even what it is, or why you chose the colours, but you do. You created the masterpiece you know all about it and the reasons behind it. You then give it to someone, and they look at it and point out all the flaws. They sit and look at it for a while, telling you all the things wrong with it, and how it could be better.
How would it make you feel?
You see God is the painter and we are the people he has given the picture to. He thinks he has created a masterpiece and yet we sit and tell him all the flaws and things we wish to change. God created us knowing about the birthmarks, freckles, cellulite, acne but they are all part of his masterpiece, this is what makes us who we are.
He called us beautiful, so why do we say we are ugly?
He called us worthy, so why do we say we are worthless?
He called us to be different, so why do we say we are weird?
He called us intelligent, so why do we say we are stupid?
He called us loved, so why do we say we are unlovable?
'For the entire fullness of God's nature dwells bodily in Christ, and you have been filled by him, who is the head over every ruler and authority'.
Colossians 2: 9-10
